Why People With Loud Chewing TikToks Think Crunching Is Content

People With Loud Chewing TikToks believe every bite is a broadcast and every slurp deserves a sponsorship. “You guys asked for more wet ramen sounds,” says a woman into a mic shaped like a lobster. No one asked. Everyone regrets. The noodles scream in 4K.

These digital diners treat chewing like performance art. One man ate pickles with a mic inside his mouth and called it “texture therapy.” Another uploaded a 17-minute clip titled “Eating 42 grapes alone in the dark.” It got 3 million views. He now identifies as a sound chef. His family disapproves. Loudly.

In a fictional audio indulgence study by the Bureau of Misophonia Exposure, 83% of loud-chew creators claimed their content “soothes the soul.” The rest were sponsored by dental floss. One influencer ate a raw bell pepper like an apple and whispered, “This crunch is for my haters.” Somewhere, a therapist shivered.

ASMR can be calming. But if your jaw is louder than your message and your audience wears noise-canceling headphones for survival, maybe rethink the concept. Crunch responsibly. And remember: not all snacks deserve a mic.
