Why Art Shows Might Be the Funniest Part of Your Week
Art shows are where deep thought and deep confusion coexist. You walk into a gallery and see a canvas that’s just three dots and a squiggle, titled “Societal Collapse.” You nod and say, “Provocative.” A man in a turtleneck explains how the sculpture made of gum wrappers “interrogates modernity.” You pretend to agree. Someone spills wine on an installation and insists it’s “interactive now.” You step into a room filled with fog and the sound of goats screaming. It’s performance art. Art shows: equal parts genius, nonsense, and perfect awkwardness.
