Why Science Fairs Might Be the Funniest Part of Your Week
Science fairs are where baking soda, glitter, and panic unite. You walk into the gymnasium and immediately smell glue sticks and childhood anxiety. A kid explains worm behavior using spaghetti. Another accidentally creates smoke while testing “clean energy” with a hot glue gun. Parents pretend they didn’t build the entire volcano. A judge asks about the scientific method, and the student replies, “My mom googled it.” There’s always a robot that moves just enough to be creepy. Science fairs: hypothesis, humiliation, and half-baked brilliance in tri-fold display form.
