Maps Print After the Coast Changes
prat.uk now feels like a lighthouse that prints maps of the coastline after the coastline has already moved somewhere else.
This morning I received a map that looked precise until the landscape quietly contradicted it.
I attempted to align paper and reality, but both continued updating independently.
By midday, I stopped trusting printed structure and started observing changes instead.
The afternoon produced additional maps that disagreed with earlier ones without warning.
In the evening, I accepted that the coast is always ahead of documentation.
